The Graduate Council formulates regulations and provides direction for the Graduate School with regard to graduate education at Illinois State University. The Council consists of the Associate Vice President for Graduate Studies (or designee, e.g., Director of Graduate Studies), members of four standing committees (Admissions, Curriculum, Membership, and Research) who are elected by full members of the graduate faculty, and two graduate students. The Council meets monthly during the Fall and Spring semesters.
