Giving to the Graduate School

The Sandra Little Groves Graduate Student Emergency Assistance Fund

Since 1995, Dr. Sandra Little Groves has directed the Graduate School at Illinois State University. Dr. Groves began her tenure at Illinois State as a professor and graduate coordinator in the Department of Kinesiology & Recreation in the College of Applied Science & Technology. Dr. Groves will retire this summer, leaving a legacy of strong advocacy for graduate education and international programs along with individual attention to graduate students.

Helping graduate students when unexpected expenses become an obstacle to degree completion has always been one of Dr. Groves's key concerns. This new fund, which will be announced at Dr. Groves's retirement, will honor her service to graduate education by helping to address the needs of future graduate students.

Friends and colleagues who would like to make a gift in her honor are invited to give online today to the Sandra Little Groves Graduate Student Emergency Assistance Fund!

Or you can also send a check payable to the Illinois State University Foundation to Campus Box 8000, Illinois State University, Normal IL 61790-80 00. Please write Sandra Groves Fund in the memo line.
